Step inside this 2 bedroom Notting Hill duplex apartment, and it won't take long for you to appreciate the work the interior designers and decorators have carried out during the recent refurbishment. There's definitely a black and white theme going on, which really helps the splashes of colour stand out in every room. Let’s start our exploration of this character-filled, uniquely laid out apartment by throwing open those black double doors right opposite the entrance, which will lead us into the kitchen. A compact space set aside for any culinary wizardry you might wish to undertake during your stay. As well as a stovetop and oven, you'll discover a dishwasher and washer dryer, so cleaning everything from cutlery to clothes can happen in here. The kitchen leads onto the main area for relaxing and socialising - the lounge and dining space which the tape measure reveals to be an impressive 292 square feet. And it's in here that the owners penchant for both vintage and contemporary art is fully revealed.

On the opposite side of the room, an elegant dining table offers up seating for all guests. Sit down here as a group for a formal meal, or grab a quick snack if you're in a hurry to get off somewhere. Use the table for work or for games as well. If it's a warm day, you'll be wanting to fold open both sets of windows, because that will give you access to the outdoor space. You'll have no doubt spotted the traditional balconies that many properties in the area proudly sport on your way in, and here's yours. Sip your morning tea or coffee out here before you head out to work or explore. Enjoy a snack or meal even, as there's a table and seating too. At the opposite end of the apartment there's a terrace area with yet more seating. If you are staying here with children, please note that the balcony railings are very low, so children will need to be watched.

Heading back inside from the balcony, and it won't escape your notice that just above head height is another unique feature of this Notting Hill duplex, the mezzanine bedroom with ensuite. Accessed via its own private staircase, here's a distinctive space with a king size bed that's sure to give you a memorable place to sleep. The other bedroom is back downstairs and features its own wall mounted widescreen television plus integrated storage space. We've already mentioned the ensuite in the mezzanine bedroom where you'll find a walk-in rain shower. And there's yet more uniqueness in the master bathroom, in which a black bathtub invites you to relax in bubble-filled luxury while you soak away the strains of the day and make plans for tomorrow.

A baby travel cot (also known as a 'pack and play') and high chair are available upon request, but we must have at least 3 days notice. Please note - the travel cot mattress that comes with it is thin, as most travel cots are. We follow the Lullaby Trust's advice not to put any added mattress or padding into the travel cot for the child's safety. We do not supply baby bedding for the travel cot.

London is constantly developing, therefore some building works on the street can occur from time to time, which can cause some noise during working hours 8am-5pm.
